PAINTING IN THE OPEN AIR - THE ART OF SEEING NATURE'S SHAPES, TONES AND COLORS.
This course is considered a classic at Öland Folk High School. We paint in oil but also acrylics are fine. We start with the basics. How to prepare panels, mix colors and handle brushes and painting medium. Teaching is conducted individually interspersed with demonstrations for the whole group. Our base is inside the studio but we also try to be outside as much as possible. Costs for travel to destinations and artist materials will be added.
Equipment suggestions, etc., will be sent to participants before the course begins.

SEK 4,895. If you do not wish to stay at the school, the course costs SEK 3,095.
COURSE COORDINATOR
Artist Niklas Elgmo grew up in Kalmar and trained in classical painting at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art in Stockholm and the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. He now lives in Holmetorp on Öland, where he also has his studio, gallery, and his own course venue. Niklas also holds courses in collaboration with Galleri Tinnert.
