This is a painting course for those who want to paint landscapes in oil. Both for beginners and for those who have been painting for a while and want to continue to develop your landscape painting. Niklas guides you through the steps to create lifelike landscape paintings. How to prepare canvases, mix colors and handle brushes and painting medium. We train our eyes to see colors/colors to create lifelike landscape paintings. Composition, drawing, perspective and depth are some of the elements that are reviewed. Demonstrations are interspersed with individual guidance and own painting. We have access to a beautiful course room at Isola farm throughout the course weekend.
The course runs Friday 13-17, Saturday 9.30-17 and Sunday 9.30-15

Includes course and all meals. Accommodation not included.

Isola studios is run by artist Niklas Elgmo and offers art sales and art courses. You will find us at Isola farm in Holmetorp on Öland. Here we build our creative business. A meeting place for creation. Here you can visit Niklas studio and participate in painting courses. The newly renovated course room is also transformed into a gallery in connection with e.g. Konstlandskapet Öland and Ölands Skördefest. In the coming years, we will also open the doors to a separate gallery and guest studios.
