Isola farm, Holmetorp Öland
Would you like to take on the challenge of drawing from a live model? In this course, we will draw with charcoal and chalk on colored watercolor paper. We will try to depict our model as realistically and proportionally as possible. The model will therefore hold the same pose throughout the course. Niklas will guide you step by step, from an initial pencil study to a larger finished charcoal drawing.
Demonstrations are interspersed with individual guidance and independent work. The model will be present for 3-5 hours per day. All other time will be spent working based on the drawing study we did on the first day of the course.
We will be staying in a beautiful classroom and the newly built gallery at Isola Farm throughout the course weekend.
The course runs on Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Includes course and all meals. Accommodation not included.
Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are served in the course room.
Lunch is served in another room on the farm.

Isola Studios is run by artist Niklas Elgmo and offers art sales and art courses. You can find us at Isola Farm in Holmetorp on Öland. This is where we build our creative business. A meeting place for creativity. Here you can visit Niklas' studio and take part in painting courses. The newly renovated course room is also transformed into a gallery in connection with events such as Konstlandskapet and Ölands Skördefest.
