Would you like to take on the challenge of painting with a live model? A painting course for those who have been painting for a while and want to continue developing their painting skills. We will try to depict our model as realistically and proportionally as possible. The model will therefore hold the same pose throughout the course. Niklas will guide you step by step, from the first sketch to the finished painting.
Demonstrations are interspersed with individual guidance and independent painting. The model will be present for 3-4 hours per day. The rest of the time, we will paint based on the drawing and color study we developed during the first days of the course.
We will be staying in a beautiful classroom and the newly built gallery at Isola Farm throughout the course weekend.
The course runs on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Isola studios is run by artist Niklas Elgmo and offers art sales and art courses. You will find us at Isola farm in Holmetorp on Öland. Here we build our creative business. A meeting place for creation. Here you can visit Niklas studio and participate in painting courses. The newly renovated course room is also transformed into a gallery in connection with e.g. Konstlandskapet Öland and Ölands Skördefest. In the coming years, we will also open the doors to a separate gallery and guest studios.
